Unseen
by auddy511
Can anyone ever see,
The inside, the real me?
How I'm torn and hurt,
Of such no one seems to be alert.
No one hears my sobs or cries,
For all the horrible lies.
To them, my mind is dirt,
Why can't they see, I'm hurt?
Then the one,
Who shone like the sun,
Came to me.
He had believed in me through thick and thin.
And always able to come again.
He is my hope, faith, and trust.

I will be there if you are ever down
To lend you my hand and guide you through
Life gets rough and sometimes you need someone there
I just want you to be happy and know that I am there for you.
So when you are sitting there, feeling upset
Just remember that I am wishing the best for you
Be careful what you do and what you say
And always remember I will be looking out for you.
Every cut and every scar
I want to heal the pain
Every frown and every tear
I want to wash away the rain.

Open Heart
by SusanL
The finger of doubt starts creeping in,
Painting your heart in shades of grey.
Slowly the fears grow within.
The finger of doubt starts creeping in.
Soon confidence is wearing thin
And the nerves begin to fray.
The finger of doubt starts creeping in
Painting your heart in shades of grey.
Alone in the world, your greatest fear;
No love to call your own.
Heartbreak starts with a single tear;
Alone in the world, your greatest fear.
A broken soul looks from the mirror;
The pain cuts to the bone.
Alone in the world, your greatest fear;
No love to call your own.
Look again in that reflecting glass;
Another is standing too.
Alone in life, you shall not pass.
Look again in that reflecting glass.
He will be your friend 'til the last;
This Shepherd will see you through.
Look again in that reflecting glass;
Another is standing too.
Don’t let this fear and doubt take hold;
Seek Him with all your heart.
Soon the truth will start to unfold;
Don’t let this fear and doubt take hold.
Seek a wisdom worth more than gold;
His word is where to start.
Don’t let this fear and doubt take hold;
Seek Him with all your heart.
