Unseen

Can anyone ever see,

The inside, the real me?

How I'm torn and hurt,

Of such no one seems to be alert.

No one hears my sobs or cries,

For all the horrible lies.

To them, my mind is dirt,

Why can't they see, I'm hurt?

Then the one,

Who shone like the sun,

Came to me.

He had believed in me through thick and thin.

And always able to come again.

He is my hope, faith, and trust.

I will be there if you are ever down
To lend you my hand and guide you through
Life gets rough and sometimes you need someone there
I just want you to be happy and know that I am there for you.

So when you are sitting there, feeling upset
Just remember that I am wishing the best for you

The finger of doubt starts creeping in,
Painting your heart in shades of grey.
Slowly the fears grow within.

Soon confidence is wearing thin
And the nerves begin to fray.

Alone in the world, your greatest fear;
No love to call your own.
Heartbreak starts with a single tear;

A broken soul looks from the mirror;
The pain cuts to the bone.
