WELCOME TO MY POETIC WORLD
I originally came on this site to rate a freinds poem, then I decided to join and write some poetry myself.
Im not enterely sure why I write poetry, I guess it helps me get my emotions out some how. Though I don't like reading them back to myself very much.

Night Eye on December 3, 2003Welcome to the site s5223, Allpoetry is a wonderful community that’s always changing and growing with each new member. First of all I would like to let you know that we are a free community and as a gift for just signing up you have been given a trial of a regular preferred membership so when you receive a message saying that it will expire, don’t panic, you can still post poems and comment on other peoples work just like you can now.
We offer new members like your self a contest just for our members that signed up this Decemberr, so be sure to check it out at (allpoetry.com/Contest/400402 ). Our OldPoetry team has contests that they post every now and then so be on the look out for those too! ( www.OldPoetry.com ) Just click the link at the top of the page and it will take you to the latest contest. Also as you are a new member I would like to inform you of a few quick rules that we have to keep the experience here friendly
- no use of profanity in the chatterbox that you see to your right
- no promoting your work in the chatterbox (we rewarded you with points for making comments you can use these to put your poem up in the featured box that you see above the chatterbox)
- no harassing of other members
