Hello my fellow Poets, my name is Patrick Rummery. I'm 28. I lived in Illinios in a small town. I went to college for a several years to get Associates of Arts degrees, however half way finished. My hobbies is writing and drawing, and my main focus is poetry. I shared my earlier poems with my friends and family, and there shined my talent. I had a unique voice and messages in my poems. I get most of my idea of my poems from currents events and things in life that we take for granted. I seldom write poetry on relationships. I feel that enough poetry on love and relationship is out there, my contribution wouldn't help any.
Just let you know my poetry comes from a third person point of view. What would life be like in another person's shoes. I prefer rhyme as my style, or free verse. I like to write about various issues that everyone can relate to. I write about our culture, the way we live, and finding ourselves in this huge world. I seek to find the truth and bring some understanging to this world. My goal as a poet is be published. Thank you for reading my poetry and providing feedback.
