Hello everybody!
I became a christian at the age of four and have been loving and learning about God ever since then. I've fallen
,I've been hurt, I've doubted,I've even drifted simply by forgetting to spend time with him.I am by know means perfect but He still loves me and I find that beautiful.
I think it's important that if you say your a christian you act like one. People want something that's real. Why do you think people hate Christians? As a whole we are a bunch of hypocrites. We preach that Christ forgives that he loves us no matter what, but when someone makes us angry we have no qualms about later telling all our christian friends at the Bible study hoping that they will share in your anger and bitterness towards that person. We are not the ones to judge God is.I digress....
As Christians we are the worlds one direct example of Christ and when they see us act like any other person we ruin our witness. We shouldn't act prideful but we should stand out, Jesus did.I can't remember who said it but I like the quote so here it is,"Preach,Preach,Preach and when necessary speak." I am a firm believer that actions speak louder than words.
All in all I'm tired of being fake and hanging out with fake people. I know that this life would be so much easier to live if we all could just be honest with eachother. If we could express our pain and suffering with someone who cared about them. Isn't that what the church is supposed to be? A group of people there to support you when you feel like giving up?Hm....
I should probably climb off of my soapbox before you all think I'm just some bitter girl because I'm not. I love life, I love God and I love people. I like to get deep and talk about what really is the matter with any given situation and think about how it could be fixed.
I am also a competitive cheerleader and I do gymnastics. I love all the girls in my squad and at my gym! Holler! Hahaha. But I also am serious about school and am pretty proud of my GPA so no more generalizing of cheerleaders eh? I also love band and piano, I am a percussionist and am up for first chair this year. But that's pretty much it.
