I am a college student who has been writing poems for a little over five years, I first got interested in them in my junior year in high school. My favorite style of poetry is descriptive, meaning that it describes the situation very well. I can't be more specific than that because I write many different kinds of poems. Sometimes, though rarely, I write violent stories, though I am not sure if those are allowed here as they are stories not poems. One specility of mine is weather poems which write about natural disasters such as tornados. I always welcome comments on my poem, positive or negative, as long as they are friendly.
My fatal flaw is that I try to be different and I hope to blend in. I know now that I can't have it both ways. But I can't be the same as everyone else, because if I were, I'd blend in, and I wouldn't be myself. And I can't destroy my own identity for other people's sake.

I don't really know if I'm still writing poetry, to be honest
haha. I have the occasional idea for a poem, but usually never get around to writing it...
I'm just about to post one now though.
It's really nice to hear that someone misses reading my poetry though

I am still pursuing writing though. I'm taking Creative Writing at UVic, and I'm in my second year, majoring in Drama/Screenwriting and Creative Non-fiction
I haven't disappeared off of the face of the internet completely though...but I've alluded to that in mentioning that you should get a facebook.
But anyway, hi back. And I am doing decently well. I hope you are too!

Night Dragon on October 25, 2004I'm aware this is way out dated but I just noticed now, you're the only person to have ever left me a negative comment (10 ways to say I love you) you were harsh and mean, thank you. I appretiate that to an extent you couldn't begin to comprehend. So many ppl would read it , not like it and move on but no, u had to point it out, cuz ur honest, a very respectible quality. Thank you for you negative imput, it's always welcome on my page.
