Defy the old dragon, defy fear. The world may rage and quake, but I will remain singing in perfect peace.
Johan Frane
In the absence of light, Darkness prevails.
Hellboy
People are lonely because they build walls instead of bridges.
"I’d much rather to be hated for who I am than loved for who I’m not."
"When you step to the ledge of all the light you have left, and you take that first step into the darkness of the unknown, you might believe one of two things will happen. There will be something solid for you step upon, or you will learn how to fly."
"When life gives you lemons, make grape juice, then sit back and let the world wonder how you did it."
"There are no weapons stronger than words. They hit faster than a speeding bullet, with more force than a battering ram, and never fail to hit the heart."
There must be something to eat in my room... I smell it...
"I'd rather be seen for who I am and be alone, then accepted for someone I'm not and be lonely."
"Thursday?! It can't be! It's too gruesome!"
Breakfast at Tiffany's
My poetry is usually of the darker variety but that is just how i get out my feelings. i prefer to think of it as "full of emotion". I read a ton and love to act and sing.
*i also like to dance in the rain*
My life is kinda wacko, but then isn't everybodies! I hope you all like my poetry, or at least if you don't like it, i hope it makes you think! and also my fav poems of my own, if anyone wants to know, not likely, are Missing You Already and The Reason for My Tears!)
I have a couple good friends on here, so if you want to check them out, they are: xhiddenxBEAUTYx, angelkisses24, and Prov 31 30
I'm a Christian and i totally love Jesus. A lot of my poems are pretty sad and depressing, but Jesus has been teaching me about hope so more and more of my poems are getting happier. If you don't believe in Jesus, i hope that doesn't stop you from reading my poems. Because i think, that even though we have different beliefs we should still be able to interact.
Well i hope you enjoy!!!!

Aisling1221 on March 4, 2006Dancing in the rain is so fun...I haven't done it in a while though because it hasn't RAINED! Anyway, I like your quotes, particularly the one about the first step into darkness and learning to fly and the one about making grape juice with Lemons. I also Love Jesus! He's wonderful... anyway, please be safe, and God bless you!
