I'm just a homegrown Texas Girl....
I have been writing for some years now,
I love the night and all the muse she offers me.
I am a dark writer because that's what suits me best
but I do like to write about other things on occasion.
The Fall and Winter are my favorite seasons. I seem
to be more inspired at those times of year. I have made
lots of really good friends here
I have the GREATEST job in all the world which is a....
"Genealogist"
That means I get to research dead people
I have been in my share of courthouses,
libraries, old houses, attics, basements
AND cemeteries
(which is my favorite place to be).
I have traversed woods, waded
through waist high grass, and walked many
cemeteries in my day. I get chiggers,
stick tights and sore feet for my efforts but
I wouldn't trade it for all the gold in China
because once your there, it is the most
calming peaceful place to be....finding
your ancestors is icing on the cake....
I've been at it for 25 years now
I LOVE DARK POETRY, the full moon at night,
thunderstorms on a hot afternoon,
the smell of rain,
and cool soft breezes.
I love the blues and classic rock,
Dove dark chocolate,
and rainbows in the sprinklers.
And I absolutely ADORE my two BIG MAN KITTIES,
Evil #1 aka Spivey , and Evil #2 aka Petey
I have been married to a GREAT guy for 24 years now
and I have three good-lookin boys, ages 23, 20 and 18.
I am pretty content with my life.
