I have no style per se. I envision myself standing in front of the beatnik greats, and ask myself..would they like it?
I am in Oregon,I live in the beautiful coastal town of Astoria. I am studying to be a paralegal. I have an odd love of the law. I love to game(MMORPGs). I like music of all sorts, but my favorite type is meditation, it help me to ground and center. I write in pentameter, so therefore i use very little punctuation in my work. when the line ends, the pause begins.
I write from emotion. Mostly anger and disappointment. I have a big mouth, and when I feel something isn't right, I make poetry out of it. I am currently have a book of poetry published.
I am determined to prove my parents wrong, in the "poetry will never take you anywhere" concept, even if it is only back and forth to San Fran from here. So far, I have gotten to meet a friend of Jack Kerouac's named "Diamond" Dave Whitaker(sorry if I misspelled the name) as well as an awesome writer named E. S. Raynes-MacLeod. I met her about 7 years ago, in San Francisco.
The loves of my life are my 3 beautiful children, Coffee, my fiancee,and my friends. I will defend those things to the death. I also love lavender roses.
I dislike hatred, bullies, and people who have a blatant disregard for mother earth. (oh and those that feel it necessary to pick on me for my grammar when they themselves cannot spell)
I look forward to improving my writing with a little help from my fellow poets in this lovely writing community..and to meeting a few of you..
