I would just like to say first thank you for checking out my page and viewing my work. Most stuff on here is a couple years old but I'm in the process of putting some new stuff up. Most people won't get my style but that's just what it is my style, I write how I feel and how I like
my poetry to flow and it definitively doesn't follow any traditional poetry standards but I like that. So I'm not saying all this to sound like I have my head up my ass or anything just that I've heard it all before but I do welcome any and all comments. And if you comment me I'll try and comment you back on some of your work if I can.

Sonnet 17 - by Pablo Neruda
it will always make me think of you Tori
I do not love you as if you were salt-rose, or topaz,
or the arrow of carnations the fire shoots off.
I love you as certain dark things are to be loved,
in secret, between the shadow and the soul.
I love you as the plant that never blooms,
but carries in itself the light of hidden flowers;
thanks to your love a certain solid fragrance,
risen from the earth, lives darkly in my body.
I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where.
I love you straightforwardly, without complexities or pride;
so I love you because I know no other way
than this: where I does not exist, nor you,
so close that your hand on my chest is my hand,
so close that your eyes close as I fall asleep.

It makes me feel great that your favorite lines are the ones that mean the most to me as well. the last one I wrote about the guy was awful I'll admit and I wasn't writing in true poetic form but sometimes I just have to get things out of my system.

rainbowbunniie on June 18, 2006thank you very much ^___^ i thought that too when i read some of yours. and yeah i tend to write the best and the most at times when i am feeling the most. as much as i love poetry i find that sometimes i can be a lil particular about what poems i like, just because i want to read something different and something that will grab my attention and make me want to not just read through it but want to stop and re-read it. and i deffinitly think your poems do that.
