*About Me*

I have been writing for a number of years. Although, I usually write stories. Poetry I only dabbled in here and there but have found after being on this site that the words just seem to flow to me when I sit down to write. I have learned many different styles now, the next is always better then the last.

I worked as a parprofessional in a school for four years. I love children and found that job to be very rewarding as I worked with the disadvantaged kids that needed that little extra help to move them along. Unfortunately due to budget cuts that were felt in the schools statewide the paraprofessionals were the first to be let go.

Back to my poetry. I write very many different kinds. Although alot of my poetry is rather on the dark side it helps to let my spirit flow. I am a *Survivor* of horrid child abuse and I am no longer ashamed to say so. My writing has helped me alot to heal and recover from that. But I can write happy poems as well and most of all I like to write Spiritual poetry and take things and bring them to life. It is a creatvity and art all in it's own.




My Newest hobby is creating graphics both still and animated from DAZ/Studio, PSP Tubes, Animation Shop found in Paint Shop Pro 7, Paint Shop Pro 9 and Paint Shop Pro X.

*Shining Star*

Faded days gone by,
still linger in the breeze.
Haunting you with memories,
like a deadly disease.

Your strength kept you standing,
though broken, you did not fall.
Instead you tenderly blossomed,
no longer are you an abused doll.

You fought with all your might,
took a stand and walked away.
Now you are a wife and Mom,
and today is your birthday.

The past, no matter how bad,
was the foundation of who you are.
Forget your pain and anguish,
for now you're a shining star.

Your heart is filled with compassion,
guardian angels taught you well.
Now you can be happy,
no longer are you stuck in hell.

With each day you grow stronger,
as God lightens up the way.
Spiritually you are growing,
keeping evilness away.

Happy Birthday Melissa,
my dear and loving friend.
I wish you to be happy,
forgetting where you've been.

I talked of your past sadness,
for it's still a part of you.
There is no need to hide it,
or in misery you'll stew.

I started at rock bottom,
when you were weak and afraid.

Your demons all are leaving you,
in Jesus name this I demand.

That little girl in the corner,
trying not to be seen.

Let go of those ugly demons,
