Note: My internet is getting cut off and I won't be able to respond to messages very quickly. I will still check this from time to time until I get the money saved up for college.
Well, I guess I'm trying to push myself to get over this damn writer's block and just force myself to put stuff out there, even if I don't think it is any good. I'd like to get work doing freelance stuff for magazines, mostly short stories and would really like to be famous one day.
I know that's not all that humble, but to influence that many people, to have that much power and presence. Sigh...So dizzying. It would be nice, as meek as I am to be able to influence them all from thousands of miles away with just a few words.
Of course, that's not my only motivation for doing this. Somehow, I've lately been trying to absolve myself of evil thoughts by writing them down. All the wretched fantasies, things I wish I could do but can't. I feel so tied down here on earth, but in my mind, there are no boundaries.
The thing that I've been liking most about this site since I joined is the interaction and feedback from other writers. I can't even begin to explain how much I've grown as a writer since I've been having actual intelligent people reading my work. I got so tired of showing my stuff to friends and them saying "oh yea, that's great." I don't like those kinds of comments. I want people to dissect it, pick it apart, tell me what they like, what they think could be better. I especially like hearing people's own interpretations of my work.
Another one I've been getting at is the erotic fiction stories. And, if anyone would like to pursue erotic fiction written back and forth, let me know, because I've always wanted to set it up as kind of a role-playing thing. So any takers, let me know. God knows, I love some good mental stimulation.
