I'm here as a stumbling block to people
within and without the steeple
I challenge your beliefs
i bring your fears to light
I see how evident your hope is
how mighty your might
I'm like your conscious
i'm on your mind at night
i make you check yourself
I put truth into sight
It's your choice to use me as a step
or stumble over my ways
I hope you do the former
the latter will waste away
I'm sent by the one on HIGH
I was reluctant for way too long
but i finally replied
to the calling, which is now my life
to keep others growing
stagnant living is such an oxymoron
that's what i'm here to cure
so i push on i push on
I tickle your mind
i test your means
I prove your heart
I want change to be seen
In the whole world let's start an elightment
we've been flickering for way too long
and to say the least it's frightening
I can't stand to see the world the way it is
so hopeless, material-oriented and blind
to those who have ears let them hear
stand up with me and help human kind
