Hi my name is Paige, i'm 12 years old, and I live in Australia. I have 2 brothers and 1 sister and I love them very much! (a mum, a dad and a step-mum too!) My hobbies are dancing and boxing. I have been dancing for 5yrs and boxing for 1yr. I have only just started writing poetry, and I would really appreciate your comments. Please feel free to send me a message and I will reply as soon as I can! My favourite colours are black and green! I love Music.. my favourite song is Temperature (Sean Paul)... it rocks!! There is so many other cool songs i cant say them all theres to many but i love all music!! Music is RAD i love music so much...]
They other day i had a boxing fight and i WON and i got this awesome as trohie i also sang the National anthem on the same day it was so cool!!!

Umm... Thought it was about time I wrote something about myself. I'll probably go into more depth in the near future, but this will do for now! I am 32 years young, and I live in Queensland, Australia. Ahhh... Beautiful one day...Perfect the next! I like to write poetry in my spare time, and usually my poems require some sort of inspiration from deep within! Sometimes my poetry can be a bit dark, but I find that style of writing comes easier for me. I looovve my music too, usually have channel V (cable music channel) going on in the background when I am at home...

My style is anything I can put on paper at the time, but I rarely rhyme in my work and rarely do forms like cinquain or haiku or any of the other thousand types.  I love nature and metapors.

I have a tendancy to write mostly "free verse", I have written some lyrics and they will appear on the site gradually.
I don't like being defined by style anyway, I just try to convey a message or at least provide an enjoyable or interesting read.
My poetry is not necessarily about myself or my experiences. I believe life's lessons are out there, I am merely giving them a voice.

have finally managed to find my way around this site o though I would add a profile etc…

I have never really been interested in poetry until now, where I have accidentally discovered that I really enjoy it. I have read many of the poems on this site and thought they were great. I have been really encouraged by the positive comments that I have received.

I enjoy many types of music and play lead guitar in a band. I work as an engineer for a company called Ricoh and quite ironically I’m there now being paid to write this

I love to write poetry. It is my life, and I go crazy when I get writer's block. I usually write dark, sad, cutting, and suicidal poetry. I am not the type to go write some "oh my god i love life" kind of poetry. Love poems are so out of my league, so I pretty much stay clear of those. I am very sarcastic, and speak sarcasm like a second language. My family, friends, and boyfriend are my life, so a huge thanks goes out to you guys! I wouldn't be here today if it weren't for you. Well if you are going to read my poems leave me some comments good or bad, I am open to all opinions.

Hi, I just came out of the Jungle last year and started doing poetry due to my bestest human friend.

Until then the closest sound resembling poetry to me was the sound of my fangs crushing the larynx of a nice fat Gazelle on a moonlit night. Don’t really have the hang of this civilization thing quite yet, my arms are too short to pull the lever to flip my lounge chair feet up so I had to kill a crock and use him as an Ottoman.

Well there isn't really much to say except I am from Qld Australia, and I was brought up on a property/ranch. I have been riding horses since I was 3 1/2 years old, and motorbikes since I was bout 16 years old. I also own a ute which I love very much!!

As for my poetry.......I have been writing poetry now for about 14 years, most of what I have written is personal poetry as you would see if you have read them. I write mostly 2 line stanzas as that is mostly all I have ever written. I am starting to broaden my poetry level now a little, as I have just started letting other people read my poems and comment on them. I have never had any of my poems published, but would some day like to write my own book. I have always thought my poems were not good enough to let the public see them, but I think most poets don't like much of their own work. I am hoping that through the poetry sites I am a member of, that I will find some one who wants to publish my poems. Or some one who knows some one who will publish my poems...... (if ya got that)

I'm just another teenager, nothing special. I'm 15 years old... almost the average teenage girl. Ya know, all the drama... starting high school (I am now a sophmore!) and friends and boyfriends...  you get it. I play guitar (sometimes) and write poems alot. I like to write poems about everything that is going on in my life right now. It's really dramatic and I'm fighting with friends and family constantly and yeah... otherwise if I'm not doing that, I'm typin online or talking to my friends on the phone... or maybe riding four~wheeler... lol. I love listening to music... any kind I really don't care... rock, rap, country <awesome! classic rock, pop... lol whatever makes me happy. I like being happy! lol! My page may seem like Im really happy all the time, but the truth is, life is getting really tough. Im kinda like the girl that can make anyone smile no matter how sad or mad they may be. Sometimes I put other peoples needs before mine, and its catching up. Ok enough about the depressing stuff!!! I participate in band {hehe Ima band geek, I'll admit it! }  choir, volleyball {I just started J.O. volleyball, but I have been in volleyball for about 5 years now}, football {if we can actually get that all-girls team this year!}, cheerleading, and... uhh... jeez cant really think of anything more. lol! Oh Oh Oh!!! I thought of some more info about me!! My favorite colors are hot pink and black! OMG they are the BEST! lol!! Im so getting my room painted them colors!
