*'*Wings Of Love (Dedication)*'*

If I could become a bird and fly by each day
I would sing you tunes in my own little way.

If I could be warm sunshine I'd reach on down
able to share comfort melting away that frown.

If I could become a flower never to wilt I'd be
able to live in moments of beauty your eyes see.

If I could be like angels in heavenly blue skies
watching over your soul my life I give and die.

If I could become apart of your tears when in pain
having my heart like Christ's His compassion gain.

If I could be filled with His love of much worth
never to lack pure reflections my soul would birth.

If I could become a voice who prays when in need
or arms that hold you or hands while burdens flee.

If I could be a blessing with priceless gifts true
and find some wings I fly somehow then bring to you.

If I could be only there as we each see another's face
may you know your loved and hold in my heart a place.

Dedicated to Cookie, Prairie gal, Kelly, and Sharon
Love you all and I keep you each in my prayers ((hugs))

'Like Powder From The Sun'

Watch her here and there-
reader of your words, playful one
heartful of your wishes,
melting in your muse.

Draws in the words, like water,
ointment to her body
food for her soul,
prayer for your needs

Hailing from the north-
she’s a fold on the meadow
golden starling in the storm
graceful gazelle in the prairie.

Loved, but unsung,
she’s a mystery unfolding
fresh as the dew, dusting
the morning powder from Sun.*

while my temple, fallen,
You are there,

Across the plain and back,
my bones, the bricks to your house
You are there.”
A voice from your heart, through a sister in Christ

You are so appreciated!!! Love you, CookieZeal\ Di

It's great to hear from you, Keda. I hope there's no near disasters in your summer. You and hubby are brave souls to live there, and I'm sure your faith in the Almighty has seen you through so much, way more than most of us have to bear.

I hope you do return to writing soon, you're right, it's much less stressful and more fun than many other alternatives.

You take care, my friend. I see that I'm not the only one on allpoetry who misses you.

    Love and
    Dee

Oh, Keda, it is sooo good to hear from you and to learn that all is going well. . . that is, with the exception of the weather and its effects on the crops. I will add a prayer that our awesome Father send rain your way.

Have I mentioned that Lobelia, White Willow and Valerian Root are excellent for pain and muscle stress or problems? It is and because they are herbs, there are no side effects.

I will be so glad to see you back to writing, so no doubt I am looking forward to fall! If you have opportunity, you might want to read the lastest Vision from the Holy Spirit, given to me just a few days ago.

Hope to hear from you soon! Lots of love, hugs, and prayers, B♥nnieQ

Thank You Everyone--- for popping in and inquiring as to how we are doing on the prairie. We are doing very well both hubby and I. We are in a major drought with temps. soaring in the 100+ range. Pastures are fried from heat and lack of significant rain. Hay is proving to be thin, poor quality and a lot of distance to make a bale. Alot of crops for most people here will end up cut for hay this year. Emergency haying areas have been opened up for grazing and haying. We don't have land in those programs. God has always provided a way and kept us going. I am Trusting Jesus to do so in this circumstance. He has carried us through 2 major fires, a major tornado, blizzards, droughts and too much water. ND prairie has always been a state of extremes.Good, poor and wipe-out crops. The same is true for livestock excellent, fair and poor markets.

I am still picking away at the repairs and replacements in and around our home. Running the home with all the day to day responsiblities is a full-time job. Add a project or two a week and you are meeting yourself coming and going. My grandson is going to spend 3 days with me this next week. Will keep Grandma and her arthritic body hopping! Jax's allows no one to be bored, as he is two!

Prayer, massage, acunpuncture are keeping me mobile, low pain zone and coping with herniated disc in neck. God never gives us more than we can handle in life. He always provides a way to handle the current situation.

God Bless each and everyone of you. Appreciate the interest and comments left here. Praying to slide into fall with this long to-do list done. I'm then taking it to the paper shredder and disposing of it. Plan to blow the dust bunnies off my files and return to writing. Less stressful and alot more exciting.

    Catch you later,

Hi, Keda....Hey, girly... where have you been? I see you haven't logged on much. I hope you're okay, back up to where the accupuncture took you at least.
And how is home on the range? It must be an improvement over the winter weather. It's sooooo hot here in Phoenix, 110-112 most days...sure makes me even more homesick for Seattle, dang you'd think that after more than nine years, I'd have forgotten but it's still here in my mind every single day. I want to go up there before the summer is over but not sure I'll be able to. And I've been hoping to make it to Florida to visit cousin Elsie and my sis, Darlene. They live about an hour from each other ...guess you already knew that, though. And my oldest daughter keeps bugging me to go see her in Memphis. My youngest daughter is living in Hawaii now with her new husband and their blended family... I definitly want to go there. So, that's the four trips Ipromised myself for this year, and seeing as how the year is now more than half over, I think I better get to packing...lol

Anyhow... I hope to see some new posts from you soon
You take care and keep in touch

    Love and
    Dee
