PollywollyShow poetry

i would like to think i could write poetry on a whim but i cannot. they come to me few and far between often months pass without writing one and then i have a finished piece in 2minutes. my inspiration tends to come from scenes surrounding me. not a big fan of poetry about love, hate, feeling etc prefer poetic fiction which much like a good book can take you away from your problems for a short while to muse on other things. i am a cat lover with 2 of my own and been with my significant other for 7yrs now. i live on the east coast of scotland but dream of retiring at 40 to a small croft in the highlands and its this dream which keeps me sain, but mad to cos its slipping away so fast i mean where does time go i wish i was still a teen but dont we all

oct 2008, still have a block, cant seem to write anything decent at the moment although am mulling over a few ideas just now inspired by a secret on facebook
