A woman,
hopeful
beauty.
Adorned
with scars.
Bears wisdom
beyond her years.
Lessons learned,
acrid and amiable.
Her soul
personifies,
resilient;
Nigh animus.
The root
of past,
Alone,
weeping.
Dreaming
of the
unknown
in light.

A man,
dreamless,
Aglow
with
intelligence.
Voided passions
fled
before.
His purpose
refusing capture.
Yearns to fly
where winds roam.
The tree
of the future.
Strong,
wise.
Wandering
shadows,
conquering the
undefined
in
darkness.




A soul,
asunder,
two halves
of one whole.
Chance
darns,
refastens,
amidst surrounding
wasteland.
She absorbs his
darkness,
He basks in her
light,
Losing,
finding.
Loosening,
binding
Both
are
root and tree,
past and future.
Wisdom of
ages.
For them,
paradise
awaits.

First and foremost, I am a rhymer. I make an attempt at freeverse, but I don't always feel the flow of words in that way. I like the flow of rhymes, sorry that's just how I feel.

Music has and always will be a big part of what inspires me. For every moment in my life there is a song that goes with it, or so it seems. I don't choose the songs that touch me, they choose me by wrapping around my heart and mind and making me feel something, everything. One of my favorite contests ever had to do with choosing the soundtrack of your life, it was random, but I still enjoyed it. In my head there is a constant soundtrack being played out, a tune for my every memory, for every person that has ever touched my life or in some cases merely grazed it...Please if you are interested in getting to know me as a friend, be ready to become part of my playlist.Below are some words from random songs that I love.

I am a mother of three, I have two sons 19 and 16 and a daughter who is six,she is autistic and has been the inspiration of many of my poems. They are my life, my hearts, I live and breathe for them. If you know me however, you know I don't speak of them often when I am on here, and that is because everyone needs a refuge away from the real wrold Ap is that refuge for me. But if you ask, I will talk for hours about them....yeah dare you to ask!!!lol
