My name is Amber, I like to write about things that have happened in my life or just life lessons that I come to notice. I write about tragedies and happy times. I started writing poetry when I became suicidal. I used my poetry to help me through that time in my life. As I've grown I've wrote about more things that have happened in my life. I am currently with my boyfriend of 1 month, Benji. He has taught me a lot about life. I have written many poems about him, us, and just the lessons that I have learned from him. I want to be able to put together a portfolio of poems like that and I want that to be one of my wedding presents to him. I hope to be getting out of this house soon, but I don't see that happening anytime soon, for the simple fact that I'm 17 and I don't have a job. I have written poetry for about 7 or 8 years, it has helped me through many of my trials and I hope to soon share my poetry with other teens that are going through difficult times as well. I don't really know what else to say except for the fact that I write through my problems and my writing helps me survive.
