I am a 62 year youngster from God's Country (Colorado USA- 4 all those that don't know
where it is) that enjoys simple poetry. Poetry is the lament of the soul. My opinion.
I write an average of ten poems a day most of it garbage but every now and then
by a miracle of God I create a gold trophy one.Thanks to the folks at AP.Their opinion. What I try to do is write gibberish and hone it into a masterpiece.
Whose opinion? Either it places silver,bronze or Honorable mention. Again their opinion.Anyhow's like I said I just enjoy writing them.That's why I don't spend much time reading them. No offense to all you other poets that create masterpieces here at AP. My opinion. But in all seriousness Every now and then I do read poems here at AP.It's such a great site to hone your craft.
