Oh I wish I could wash
My soul -
Clean feeling soul
She awaits the touch of the one -
when i guaged my age
by the number of hair cuts -
Wire jawed angels flutter their way around us
Unable to give their advice or voice -
Unfamiliar ceilings
Wakefulness striking way too soon -
the sun left his pink drag-queen lipstick upon my sallow cheeks
i was so left in my heartfelt reverie -
marked for life
with your love's ink -
Forgive me for that which I have done
i know not what i do -
My dream
You sat on the edge of my bed -
a timid lightening strike
fresh blown morning dew -
I’ve made myself up
Crafted like an artisan -
My thoughts echo into eternity
Their silent decibels -
So here I stand,
All alone -
as numerous as the leaves that grow up on it
-
something deep something dreary something real something raw
simply sweet as a sunrise slipping slowly from the sea -
a double edged sword
it bites the hands that hold it -
i bring you back
by force of habit -
cassiopeia shines bright in her heavenly disgrace
and the scorpion hunts luminous orion -
i choose my prison
it makes me quite safe -
Your face
resembles all the hopes and dreams i know i have -
In search of my happy thought i lie awake at night
spending too much time worrying -
don't be suprised when monday rolls around
and i'm not thinking of you any more
