Tears become immemorial
On the wings of a phoenix -
I rise the spiral stairway of wakefulness
from the depth of slumber -
an empty heart
cold as ice -
Writing in neon across the air
moving unsteadily on the edge of the cosmos -
and sunlight chained its day
on this valentine's day... -
willing to return to the empty desert
searching in vain -

For every rose
Of your Forty-eight season -

Mighty as the Ocean -
"Because of my love, I prostrate…"

Wishing to understand
What is not meant to be understood -
In the middle of my desert,
A star of hope -
Deserving of merit often not known
working hard and toil -
Pouring at her feet -
come and sail away with me…
while our souls rush from Garden of Eden to Heaven’s gate -
her compassion will embrace the world
her wisdom will seek answers -
Like a candle, a gift from light
you are a gift from its flames -

Tying to a bond -

The moon walked,
keeping its pace beside me -
You need to be reborn for me, encore
For you freed my thoughts, heart, and words -

When the breeze called me to my bed
the moon behind the drapes was afraid -
Soft and warm
Velvety vivid -
To Moses…

neither forest’s silence
nor nature’s stillness -
Steadily,
A heart pounds a rhythm... -
