-
The wind whispers tender symphonies br
-
the world stopped but they didn't know.
they kept moving and breathing while everything else stood stock-still.
-
A sound shrieks through the desperate gloom and the
Man with tired eyes and ragged clothes looks up from his endless search for meaning in
-
I casually glanced out the window,
And saw delious sheets of rain pounding down in the darkness.
-
i miss you so.
i don't know where you are right now,
-
He just keeps talking, playing devil's advocate.
Words pouring out of his mouth, no one really cares.
-
The world is fading now,
And every thing has come to naught.
-
I sit all alone in the gathering gloom,
Watching mindless images I see but do not appreciate.
-
Please whisper that i'm beautiful,
While I'm sobbing in your arms.
-
I live in desperate twilight.
A night that seems to never end.
-
I cannot breathe, something is closing up my throat.
I"m falling into darkness and i can't grab the rope.
-
He held the faded photograph in strong trembling hands,
And watched the setting sun dapple her captured grin.
-
Did I never truly see the real you?
Was what I loved just an illusion I projected?
-
Standing on the railroad tracks,
Her long black dress flutters in the breeze.
-
My poetry may not be Tennyson, Wadsworth, or Keats.
It may be melancholic and morbid but always real.
-
If you feel you must cry,
Remember that I am here to hold you.
-
Is anger just an emotion that can be blocked by a wall,
Is beauty just a myth that can be erased by you.
-
So i'll build my walls higher still, and make prison bars of steel,
To keep from the trap of the words i can never say.
-
I'm sorry that i hurt you.
I'm sorry that i cried.
-
Screams for a myth,
And champions for an ignorant illusion
-
If i cry, will you be there to love me?
If i crash, will you be there to save me?
-
Dust to dust, ashes to ashes.
Loving leaves you bruised and shattered.
-
Pain became your friend,
Darkness is your everpresent light.
-
“Perk up, Sunshine…” She whispered and took his hand.
-
He gathered up her tattered dignity,
And gave her new worth.
-
Everywhere i look, i see your bewildered face.
Watching the sky as you sadly drift away.
-
What if i just walked past you,
Would you see the loneliness in my eyes?
-
There is no world outside my pain.
There is no life behind my eyes.
-
Every time i see your face, i smile.
EVery time i hear your voice, i dance.
-
There seems an electricity to your touch.
There is something in your gaze.
-
He sprawls confidently in his chair,
Surveying his makeshift court with eyes that miss nothing.
-
I see it now.
I see why i was afraid of you.
-
So why is it, that you are mad at me,
When you are the cause of pain?
-
But you drift away.
Always elusive to my desperate touch.
-
You are standing still,
Watching your life go past.
