My Sweet Man
He gamble a lot
-
“Ages of Impatience”
We live with them now
-
For you found your true love
and the happiness it brings
-
Are you the fright
that we suppose you to be
-
Now I can take a break and graze
as Boss Man takes a few days
-
Eating his beans and bacon from a tin pan
which he washes whenever he can
-
You must sign up, a student for life
and suffer earthly troubles and strife
-
For a time I drifted away
and my troubles began
-
The Lord saw a need
to help his suffering child
-
At the golden haired man's gentle voice
you are forgiven child, it's now your choice
-
Well she finally got over her tizzy
and learned to love the tin lizzy
-
We do have our Book of Hope
That was written to help us cope

In this wild and wicked earth
filled with vermin of every kind

lies a place where one can see the other side
