When I see I am blind
When blind I see
-
Now all ye blind, rejoice with me
For there shines a Light from Galilee
-
Set out in Destiny along roads unknown
Called to life abundant by journeyed gates alone
-
I awake in my bed in the quiet of night
Dead in the depths of redoubtable plight
-
Shadows creep forward at the moon's soft rise
Whispering phantoms show visions of eyes
-
The entirety of time
Confined to one state of mind
-
Beloved of mine, I sense a shudder and shift
As if the Earth groans, the deep toils towards rift
-
In wake of implosion
I stand by compulsion
-
I see a sweet soul
A heart for the waiting
-
Running, running, breathless and faint
Screaming, screaming, give in to constraint
-
Stand up! Withstand!
Fall towards my hands!
-
I traipse through time
And saunter through space
-
I walk the cold shadows of lonely memory
I gaze inside eyes of thoughts only mine
-
I need to believe that it wasn't for not
That the powerful pleasures that I patientily fought
-
When Oppression breathes ice through the heart of all men
We Stand
-
Remember us
That we might live as we give our lives for you
-
I lie awake in a haze
My depths all ablaze
-
A sweet aroma which penetrates
Permeates with potency
-
I'm standing here shouting out Your name,
Here my passion, I pour out my pain.
-
I stood in the muck and mire
Held up the walls and brought under fire
-
Somewhere there's a plane
Droppin' men from the sky
-
Here, sit down and open your ears
And listen to the wisdom handed down from the years
-
Would that all men's minds bloom like a spring valley rose,
Would that our hearts rise to that lofty estate.
