Standing alone, waiting for your call,
There's nothing else for me to live for. -
History repeats itself with every inclination,
Of taking the world apart, stone by stone. -
I am a portrait painted onto a rotting canvas,
That slowly withers from the glare of constant sunshine. -
I'm going to act like nothing can hurt me,
And pretend I have a heart of stone. -
The moon was out as it always is,
And shining brighter than the stars. -
If a person can be a wrinkle, or a ripple in the lake,
Can they become a tidal wave against an angry beach? -
Is there a ghost of the person still living in your shell,
That made a life and cast me into hell? -
I did a really humourous poem, so it's not all that serious. Have fun reading it!

Whispers in my ears,
Tell me everything I never knew. -
I'm feeling all alone right now,
As though no one can hear me cry. -
It's always FUN to pull a prank
And it makes everyone so HAPPY -
No one else can see the rain,
That falls behind your hidden eyes. -
Running through the trees of filtered light.
Knowing that today everything has gone just right. -
One girl, three boys, on a lonely little beach.
It's never quiet, though technology is out of reach. -
In the dark of night, when there's nothing to do
And the eerie sound of darkness drifts around me, -
