The summer’s day bows down to thee,
The only beauty more fair than she; -
Distant cries
behind blinded eyes, -
I cry your tears
soaked are my empty eyes, -
As loneliness creeps through the shadows
And death whispers sweet nothings into my ignorant ear -
You poisoned my dreams,
Ripped out my heart, -
The hole you left me still remains
With many lonely tears. -
Enveloped in the darkness of the velvet night
