-
Its hours before the sunrise
On a dock by the waves rolling free.
-
Dusty snips and shiny bits Discarded memories lost. Scattered pages all around But what has been the cost?
-
Such is the longing of a past planting That clutch and root around
-
I stand within my house and gaze about me
Faded walls surround comfortable furniture
-
Visor drops with metallic clank
Horse prances until calmed by a squeeze
-
Icy winds draw restless flakes
Over hill, swaying evergreen
-
I view the world with open eyes
Yet still I’m trapped within the lies
-
I tossed and turned in cotton fields
Despairing of witless slumber
-
I look into her fallen tears
Quiet on the soft pillow
-
A curious thing it was, to see her standing there.
Muted, ancient calm with ocean breezes in her hair.
-
I stretch
White lacy fingers upward
-
Don't bite the hand
Connected to your arm
-
Visually I soak them up
The words, the thoughts, the page
-
This morning, there was dreaming.
Within, a shooting star going by.
-
Silence lay upon the ears Yet through the eyes it speaks
-
A light uplifted fine gossamer Floating free in the ethereal moment.
-
-
Yes I vent this anguished rage
By throwing words upon this page
-
-
Willing oft is not enough
To make your dreams come true.
-
Small brown eyes and little paws
The softest coats and furry tails
-
-
Hi, Great job this morning. Did you hear me applaud?
I have a few questions
-
Into the quiet of the most peaceful night
I rock all your cares away.
-
As the knife drops from my hand
The first chill runs up my spine
-
Dappled drops upon my cheeks
Liquid opal falling down
-
Darkly cloaked in moonlit dream
Shadow less in mystic beam
-
Unnoticed crimson dripping down
As if her hands did weep.
-
Light does touch upon my face
Leaving golden fingers trace
-
Huddled close by mother’s side
Trying hard his shakes to hide.
-
Once invoked an inquisitive mind
Sharing wealth of enlightened kind
-
Wind does whisper upon the ash
Encouraging soft rosy red
-
Looking at you my heart it flutters
-
-
Drifting downwards into sleep
Thoughts and bits of dreams…
