hushed waves
singing softly -

On the grey rocks
uncaring of the world -
Not indigo, violet or blue,
mine's a more vivid rainbow hue. -
Lets wrap this Earth in Astro Turf
so much easier to manage then grass -
tucked warmly in quilts of clouds
the sun sleeps till late today -
How soothing is this new found place
where the river flows at a tranquil pace -
Before the dawn touches the sky
in the quiet of the early morn I sit -
\God did not create this world in vain\

Disheartened by cement colossals
Searching for a piece of my sky -
Insulated by thoughts
people pass life -
Friend of my youth, when we were so free
laughter rang out, shoulders shook with glee -
Driving down the straight highway
I see them on either side -
