I see them every day, / People victim to the masquerade / They walk as if nothing's wrong / Telling you always that they're strong / But look close and I guarantee / You'll see what I say you'll see, /

I do not know how you cannot see
This cloud of love all around me -
From my pen there used to flow
Words like fire of feeling in many a row, -
I was never blind
But never saw, -
br
If tears could build a stairway -
An epic of snow flakes out my window
br -
We sit so close together
And yet you are so far away, -
The beauty of sunrise or sunset hold
but a candle to you, -
I fell in love with your eyes
And the gap in between your front teeth -
When roots do seep and entwine so deep into the ground
The moon shining like glass in the sun -
Beneath the surface,
A life unlived -
A lonely feeling
like my soul being poured -
Your lips are like a jack-o-lantern o halloween night,
And your smile fills the hole that is my insanity -
I think in my life so far so short
I've only loved two for sure -
A life that was only half lived
But a life that was to me the greatest gift -
Beauty full of such entrancing light
Why dost thou cast me from thine sight? -
Stricken renegade of frail,
Please tell my why you are this way, -
I had a dream last night,
That your lips so gently touched mine, -
In this so called world of light
I close my eyes -
In your world I'm wrong
I'm like a plague, fetid and disgusting -
With each word another piece.
Of my mask is blown away -
My last drops of happiness
are crashing to the ground -
"Run, I can hear my brother coming up the stairs." I whisper to Jack. He runs to my bedroom and softly closes the door. I sit at the computer silently, talking

Only saying
what they tell me to say -
Trapped under the water
Once again I'll die -
my face is but a lie
watch me slowly as i cry -
Sing me a lullaby
So sweet and tender -
Do you think there's more
Or is this it -
Slice your pain away
With a blade
