Oh what foolish lovers
Confess in moans and sighs
-
She dances in fires.
Whilst her body storms.
-
My crimson lips hold
All these lies I've told.
-
-
Her body is
Consumed in flames
-
You smother me
Not letting me go.
-
Burrowing in your soul,
Bringing a flow of tears.
-
-
She cares nothing
For what she has.
-
The days seemed so long
The nights warm
-
Tell me President Sir,
Are you proud,
-
The snow falls gently
Covering the sweet earth.
-
-
Her hair is deep
Made of shadows,
-
She dances on a lily's pad.
Flies with ravens in the skies.
-
But still,
The dragon slumbers.
-
The distant dreams of men
Are but a burden on their soul.
-
From the past I cannot hear
The distant scream so full of fear.
-
Shunned and ignored.
Her world is crumbling.
-
When she embraces the earth,
The waters all turn to stone.
-
But you shudder beneath my touch,
And turn away in fear.
-
-
I see their shadows
Splayed across the ground.
-
My wounds have split open,
My heart is weeping.
-
To feel the aching pain
Could drive you utterly mad.
-
How have you survived,
In such a barren place?
-
I've seen the door,
That you would open.
-
I'll go wherever you may go,
Always stay beside you.
-
I tried so hard
To set myself apart.
-
Painted faces, fake vaneer. Garbage flowing from my mouth.
-
Little drops of blood,
to remind us, summer's dead.
-
Your kiss is cool
Like a calm December.
-
Dear Somebody,
I started to write you a love poem
