I’m just too tired, but I can’t sleep,
My mind is still full of stupid things. -
A circle of love surrounds me,
They embrace and hug me. -
How can I dwell on things
So minor and insignificant, -
There stands a house,
A place expected -
And the last one came,
Crashing on in, landing, -
Showering light... the sun shows things new.
Livening dull willows from out of the dark -
Your fake truth and deceitful honesty
At first brightened my surface, -
She sits and waits,
Praying for words, -
Pieces sucked away,
Shut out, through vortexs. -
Jesus looks at me and smiles.
He sees someone who believes Him, -
Soft pitter-patters of raindrops
Fall swiftly onto the window. -
Frosty snowflakes
and frozen toes; -
Love
Keeps hope alive -
Muttered words aren’t always truthful,
Lies can easily be spat out. -
