-
A variation of the Shakespearian sonnet.
-
The Patriot,
standing tall
-
Standing on your high pedestal
Not like a queen, more like the court fool.
-
The words do not come quickly
I don't know what to write
-
A love forbidden
A love so true
-
I've been slaving away, searching for a sign.
Yet here I am, laying my life on the line.
-
Methodically plotting my next great venture
I find my newest prey, young and beautiful.
-
-
It's about unrequited love, okay?
-
The rain is pouring down outside
Drenching my dreams in sorrow.
-
Starry eyed girl reaching for the prize
With long silky strands of blond flying free
-
I look down at my handsAnd see the remnants of a broken life.Chipped black nail polish Lingers on my fingernails From a day of angst and fury.<B
-
Staring at you in the chilled, sanitary classroom,
I can only hope that you notice me.
-
How do I loathe thee? Let me count the ways:
Thou art more selfish than a used car salesman.
-
On a hot and steamy September day
I looked inquiringly at my love,
-
Please say it's all a nightmare
Please say it is not real
-
The angels fill with envy
As I swell with pride
-
Twenty-two crimson kisses
Carved into my skin
-
Once upon a time
In a land not far away,
-
There is a prince who stole my heart
And holds it in his thrall
-
Roaming in the darkness
Ever searching for the light…
-
I’m never gonna be the best
As long as you’re here, keeping me down
-
Waking in my cold, white room,
There so much I want to share with you-
-
-
I open my mouth
And everything that issues from it
-
Spawn of Venus, hear my prayer,
Leave me not without him.
-
Remove this lingering malady
And complete me as you did before.
-
The lies reverberate within my skull
Growing louder, never ceasing.
-
What does a power-hungry hypocrite look like?
Spell it out.
-
-
Blood drips from my wrist
The blade has won yet again
-
My hands are shaking-
She's pushing me over the edge-
-
Upon this Earth, I have seen angels.
These angels had neither wings nor halos,
-
Sitting in a sea
Of crimson and tile
-
The shattered glass
Pierces my delicate skin
