She stared at the picture
and smiled inside, -
Arguailly the old man stood,
Pondering the ferib, avrile bhett -
Softly, effortlessly their
peaceful ballet goes on, -
-
Silently she watches,
always feeling and always hearing -
She lies on her bed and stares out the window
the night sky as clear as her dreams -
Dear Prince Charming,
I am waiting for you... -
-
Her hope as black as the piano,
her dreams smothered by her reality, -
This is my life,
and this is the life. -
My tears fall unnoticed, and my voice cries unheard.
Trapped in this terror, unknowing of the future and forthcoming pain, -
The keeper of all secrets,
the most trustworthy of them all. -
And I shudder to think how hard it is,
to stare back into the eyes that I have known for so long. -
Fabulous shadows dance in its mind, known to only the soul itself
Open to all, yet closed to everyone -
The rain.
It washes over me like a million tears silently falling down my face. -
Just me myself and I...
Alone but together in our misery -
Life throws us many baseballs.
Some we miss, -
She sits on her glass shelf, in her glass case.
Perfect, flawless to the naked eye. -
Faith, trust, loyalty.
The three best qualities in a person, yet the rarest of them all. -
The laughter I hear,
sweet as candy, -
I do not understand.
How do people do what they do, how can they possibly think the things they do? -
Freedom, who in these camps can define that anymore?
Some may say that it is the ability to do as you please, and go where you want. -
Have you ever sat and watched the snow drift slowly down...
