-
She stole his heart,
from the moment they met. -
I'll tell a tale, a magic, tale, about a little boy.
This boy, he was no average boy, for his was always young. -
A sweet caress, a warm embrace.
I reach out to touch his face. -
How can you say you love me,
when all you do is make me cry? -
She steps in the room,
the scent is still there. -
She sits high upon her pedestal
looking down on all who pass by. -
Who are we?
Don't you know? -
The Summer sun has come and gone,
the sky is turning dark. -
The Fourth of July means family and friends gather together wearing red, white and blue shirts, hats, or pins.
Food is plentiful and so is American Pride. -
You didn't say "I love you" very much when I was growing up.
You didn't have to because I felt it in every kiss and hug. -
Zipping and Flipping way up in the air.
Swirling and twirling through clouds with no care. -
Cleaning and scrubbing,
cooking and hugging, -
I open my window to an enchanted white kingdom.
The snowflakes are dancing and calling "please come".
