Ladies and Gentlemen
lend me your ears* -
-
The face was not pretty enough,
the dress lacked form
-
It was that night when two poems
reached out to one another;
-
-
What sun, if any, what light
if it be brighter, can touch upon
-
Softly amongst
green of grass
-
Breath, I release it
as does a menagerie of stars
-
-
Your eyes waterless
as I sipped upon the
-
Ripped open the seam
of night, to search
-
-
You puffed your way out of reality,
lying dormat on ashen plane-
-
Smell the scent
life reaching for you -
-
I am potted, enriched earth
-
Falling down to
the sea - Air
-
If only for this moment
when awareness snapped
-
It was there,
where light peeked,
-
She swam upon the blissful night,
carried torch and secret dreams -
-
Give me direction. I step unto pavement,
-
Hand in hand with smile
virtue's constant trials
-
where have you gone?
there's is magic yet to explore
-
Light filled -
echoing voices
-
Today, I disappeared.
I searched into the tunnels
-
Folded neatly, your scent;
time can never
-
You grace the path of
past lovers, unsure your own
-
It was sudden
as day became night
-
What you stole,
return back to me -
-
Dear dad,
do you have a moment?
-
Surreal the moments
disallowed stillness
-
Awakened, stirred juices
slip to caress flesh -
-
you and i
clasping one star
-
Flesh lays properly -
fittingly so, upon bones;
-
It flashed before me
the colors of the wild -
-
I looked up as darkness
covered my footsteps;
