We walk, and the nightmares are terrible-

There is but a breath, a pause
between this moment and the next

feet hanging through the rungs swinging

I have laid by collectively, Little things and angry toys

There are lights over the sea now
Perhaps glowing from a foreign town

Staring eyes descending on
the other faces, watching,

It was not long ago
as some have said

children which play the

Don't nobody really know?
