-
Summers sun gone, Autumn takes its hold sunny warm days changing, becoming very cold,
-
With wings opened wide I will soar
life will not end, I’m sure there is more,
-
I sit in thought, drifting in dreams alive in a world where everything gleams,
-
I look into memories, disillusioned, alone
broken in heart, one day she may phone,
-
Unseen drifting among life’s living in need of answers, maybe forgiving,
-
When I heard angels sing such tears I cry in fear for me I knew they’d come, so quickly drawing near,
-
Life stands still, nothing ever changing It’s time for a difference, for rearranging,
-
I ask of thee don’t judge my mind here deep within it’s hard to find,
-
His words touched many a heart
of love he would wish to be a part,
-
My soul cries out release my pain yet; year by year it cries in vain,
-
I close my eyes to way back when my years were young, I’m only ten,
-
I reach into the dark, a void of emptiness for reasons undiscovered this space I must address,
-
Can I dream a dream of rainbows in the sky where my pains, my torments never will apply,
-
Light upon her shone this day fears removed all gone away,
-
A moments grace, a smile upon her face delivering warmth I gladly embrace,
-
They cannot see me crying hidden on my own within this isolation, tears are all that’s shown,
-
Here I lay in wait, a final breath to take
through tears preparations I now make,
-
Who am I to judge those before me when I drink from the same cup of guilt.
-
Tears fall to promises of yesteryears demise I listen to echo’s of yet more deceitful lies,
-
Should I walk another mile frown on face lost my smile,
-
Many times they’ve often said they hear voices in their head,
-
I hear the wind calling, trees they gently sway bending in a breeze that’s whispering today,
-
Whispers of silence come then go
upon this road such traffic flow,
-
I view the page, a poem written
paragraphed rhyme to which I’m smitten,
-
I awaken to crisp white ground
unusual now but snow I found,
-
I walk among pastel coloured lands in an endless game I hold your hands,
-
My hands shake as my body awaken set free from smoking, I was mistaken,
-
In yonder fields of grasses green runs a stream I’ve never seen,
-
So many recollections held within my mind times all worth recalling, a past I left behind,
-
Forgotten memories of my past I walk a path of love to last,
-
-
Embarrassing moments well I know a few
but mainly just one, it made me feel blue,
-
Be still the rolling tears you weep
as I am in your heart to keep,
-
We live so many alone, frail unwanted like a rusted nail,
-
Looking around I see things changed landscape so different, it’s rearranged,
