We stand here in honor of one of our best,
and mourn another hero as we lay him to rest.
-
Wondrous beauty, that surrounds me in every way;
I'm thankful to you, each and every day.

Gentle thoughts I have, racing through my mind,
Of my father carrying a rope, with me right behind.
-
Every time you come around,
I'm overwhelmed by your presence.
-
I must be in the wrong place (my head shakes)
As I wait my turn, at the Pearly Gates
-
Ever had the urge, to want to laugh really hard
You know the kind, that make you roll in the yard
-
Morning came slow, I woke before dawn
I stretched and stretched, I let out a big yawn
-
I'm a member of the Bug Scouts, we are Troop One
We learn about survival and have lots of fun
-
MY child, you are young, your body and soul
Great things I have in store for you, this is MY goal
-
I thought this morning, I'd go for a stroll
I made my bed quick, then crawled from my hole
-
With pounding of the river
Against rocks at it's banks
-
The thoughts that ramble through my mind
Are ones that will never be left behind

Since being on A/P, great friends I have met,
I'm sure there's a lot of people,
-
Breath of an angel, fills his lungs as he sings,
Breeze in the air, as he flutters his new wings.
-
I reached a small town, it was close to high noon,
When I made my way, to the Cricket Saloon.
-
It was around 2 am, some where's around that time,
I was minding my own business, when grabbed from behind.
-
Hilltop setting, nestled amongst the trees,
Locusts sing their song with the summer breeze.

My life seems to have ceased, within all that surround,
It's spent in darkness, forgotten.. so not to be found.
-
I found the song in my heart today,
It had grown so dim when you went away.
-
I gave birth to a child one lonely night,
as I lay there helpless and full of fright.
