Dear Margaret,
Thanks to Hugh for making me read some of your poetry. I agree with him that your sonnets in particular are superb.
I'm pleased that the old boy has invited you to join his favourites' list and I know he is thrilled that you accepted.
We are members of a formidable and talented group of writers and I constantly hope I can keep my place amongst the rest of you.
I daren't comment on Hugh's acrostic because he worked on it for hours and, if YOU didn't see fit to ask him to make any changes, who am I to criticize it?
Welcome to Hugh's 'harem' and best of inspiration always.
Sincerely, Heathcote.
