Stages of Life

Our life is like the rising and setting of the sun
When the sun rises, it's a new beginning.
While it rises to mid-morning,
It shines light onto the entire world so we can see and explore.
At mid-day, it gets heated where people go inside
To escape the hazardous rays.
But by mid-afternoon, it cools down,
People start to come out and play.
Finally at the end of when the sun starts to set,
People gather around to say goodbye.

I am guessing that you live in a warm area of the world. I know I try to avoid the sun during the summer, which is impossible since I work out in it, lol. It's an interesting poem you 'wroght.' j/k
