I heard this story some time ago
About an eagle who didn’t know
His ability to fly and sore above ground
Listening to others kept him down
He flapped his wings with all his might
But neglected to move or take flight
You see it wasn’t until he realized
He was an eagle that he was able to fly

Sometimes, it takes adversity to make a person realize that they are strong. I have taken lessons from my life and try not to see only the negatives that they have inflicted upon me, but also the positives that constantly shape me into a stronger and more beautiful person. I am an eagle, a butterfly, a raven, whatever you wish to see me as. I would hope that this reaches to the multitudes. I don't think there's really anything wrong with this piece at all... it reminds me of my own poem, "The Raven". Beautiful work, dear!
Many blessings,
Raven Aurora

I am an eagle, have known since I was old enough to imagine. I love your couplets, they make me see my ability to soar with great fervor. This is an exceptional tale of reality, shared with little effort and very few words. Excellent work!

Awesomely Inspiring.
You just never know what you're capable of doing until you give it a try. This is not just about an eagle who learned to fly but a belief in yourself that you could accomplish anything you put your mind to. Great write Dee, glad to have you back. Pen on.
