3 months and 3 weeks
But now it’s all done
I’m happy now
I’ve finally WON!
I can make it on my own…
A happy ruler
To a happy home

Mother and daughter
No longer am I drowning
Under the water
I’m free! I’m flying!
I’m soaring high!
Please don’t take this wrong
It’s just a goodbye.
We can be friends
But I don’t wanna be
You opened my eyes
And helped me to see.

    I know how you feel with this in some spots but not all. I was with my man for 6 years. Yea long time, I know. But I am feeling broken right now over it all, but at the same time I am getting my own place for the first time ever so I do feel free in that aspect. And I have a lot of guys hitting on me too. It makes me feel good but I miss him so much.

    this poem is really interesting i think that its kinda odd but hey. the feeling of freedom is great. just one thing kinda pops into my mind as to what you meant by the line '3 months and 3 weeks' are you trying to say a pregnancy thing or just thats how long the whole single thing has been?? anywho great job and great write keep it up.

    It's a nice thing to see when a girl realizes that she can make it on her own. This is a wonderful way to say that you are fine and you will go on to see another day and another love. Beautiful background and write.

    this is so wonderful. you are so strong to have moved on this way. or the way I took it from reading this. this was really truly very very excellent. You did a wonderful job. You are a very tallented writter. The rhyming scheme just flowed together. im not so sure if the word flowed is correct for flew doesnt quite seem like the right word for what im trying to say here lol anyway, this was very excellent. Great job on this! Keep up the great work and stay strong. Blessed be!
