I kissed the back of my lover's neck gently as he continued to read his book. A book he had not been able to put down at all. He read from dawn to dusk until he could not even keep his eyes open.
He briefly looked at me and smiled, while pulling me down into his lap.
I smiled back at him and looked at the page he was reading, quite curious as to what it was about.
I was quite surprised to see that it was about marriage and pregnancy.
He smiled, looking up. "Marry me."
"Yes." We kissed.

I might've entered one of your contests...I learned how to do them from a contest and I liked them. I haven't written one in a while though. This one was my first attempt and it wasn't easy, but I found it much easier as I went along. Thank you for commenting.

Heh, no, I haven't been asked to be married just yet. Not ready for it, let alone think I'm old enough. Anyway, thanks for your comment. I just wrote this out of the blue, actually. Didn't know where I was going with it till I wrote it down.
