From My Heart to Yours

Missing image

You are such an awesome man,
a silver tongued devil.
Romancing us with your words,
on a gentleman level.

Sonnets, sing out from your soul,
serenading all the senses.
Causing our heads to swoon,
letting down our defenses.

On your birthday I give to you,
simple words from my heart.
Thanking you for being there,
with the kind words you impart.

May you be blessed with many friends,
who are as wonderful as you.
Caring and loving friends,
that are honest and true.

    Fantastic Poem!

    What a brilliant display of true love and friendship for a fellow poet. The graphics are spectacular, the words so genuine and true but best of all the birthday cake looks simply delicious. Hope Hugh had a wonderful and memorable birthday. Avril

    Aawwww Sam!
    ~~~
    I may sometimes be quite a devil
    and yet, you know, I'm on the level.
    Meeting and parting on the square
    with all mankind 'most anywhere.
    I would not harm the smallest fly
    or cause one of God's beings to die.
    The one thing I would like to take -
    a HUGE slice of your birthday cake.
    My doctor tells me "NO - by golly!!
    Youve got to watch cholesterolly!"
    But dang the doctor! I'll just pray
    for God's forgiveness on this day.
    I'll eat my fill and drink my lot
    for indigestion I'll care not.
    For I would be a churlish clown
    to turn all these good wishes down.
    ~~~
    Thankyou my dear friend, applause, Love and hugs, XXX Hugh.

    This is so very beautiful Sam. Hugh is so lucky to have such great friends. I likee the background! I know Hugh loved it. LOL The cake is delicious looking, missing about 63 candles though I know Hugh liked that too. And the words, your usual perfection! Great poem lady for an outstanding man and poet!

    Much Love,
    Renee
