Memories

Kissing
      touching
            kissing
                  touching,

that's all we ever did
when our nights of passion
were novice, when we'd just discovered love.

and then you would splay your masculine fingers
in my tangled curls
and I would see the world
fall right between my feet.

Tantalizing
          torture
                  tantalizing
                            torture

And then my heart would leap
at your tender touch,
and i would be caught up
in a whirlwind of paradise.

Painful
      aching
          painful
                aching

And in a twinkling of an eye
you broke my heart
and caused the pint of  faith, i had in love
to suddenly disappear.

Hurting
      longing
            hurting
                  longing,

all these memories, gone.
