Silence is eternity,
that's all that it can be.
Silence is eternity,
that's what it means to me.
Life ends quickly,
Death is mute.
Darkness falls,
to Light's commute.
Jealousy kills,
and so does Hate.
Love is lost,
and so is Fate.
Sorrow, Joy, they never last.
Innocence, lies in the past.
Silence is eternity,
although it wears disguises.
But if all earth was dead and gone,
the Silence would surprise us.
Author notes
I wrote this on the spot. I haven't proof-read it or done much editing except what I did while typing it. I enjoyed the inspiration this contest gave me. ^^

Very good poem here pfh... I loved this one... Silence Is eternity, for when we will be gone and lost silence will remain.. forever.. Nice idea ,, nice flow and nice rhyming

i noticed your name on one of the pages. i didnt think that anyone else new about peace frogs. one of their stores is where i live and the dudes that started it were from where i'm from. but anyways, i thought this was really good.especially the part "sorrow,joy,the never last. innocence, lies in the past". i totally like that. very nice job!
