A Time Where I Long To Be

I see her in my mind
standing in the meadow
pale skin, fair hair
delicate and frail

Long flowing skirt
blowing in the breeze
long hair curling around
in the morning sun

Happy and content she seems
one with Mother Nature
the animals unafraid
as they linger around her

She......is......Me
in another time
a peaceful time
a time where I long to be

    This was really good. I think everyone can relate to this. All of the time people are longing to be in a place were they can get away. It had a very peaceful mood to it. Which I like. You don't see that a lot from poets on this site.
