Best and Worst of Everything (a Riddle)

I'm the best and worst of everything
Making people laugh, dance, and sing.
When best, I inspire and impress,
While worst I'm sad, full of distress.
I live well with family and friends
Those who take time to make amends.
You never know where you'll find me
Though I've been known to answer a plea.
As the song goes, "All you need is..." me.

Being of similar ages, this one was super easy. There can only be one answer.

No, your guess is excellent, congratulations as you are sooo correct, and thanks for being patient as my a.p. source doesn't always tell me who has answered or whatever. Great job! Sometimes, I have to admit that I doubt myself as to whether this is all worth it, and then new people such as you come along and confirm it, so thanks and I hope you continue. I will warn you though, some say that these are addictive so be careful. lol Best wishes, always.

i've got a guess for this one after reading it over about ten times. But not just a guess, a guess based on clues... Anyways, this was a fairly hard riddle, really hard if my guess is wrong, because then it will take longer to solve. But this is good.

The last two lines, I think, are a dead give away. I like this one alot. And you're right, as you probably directed me to this because of my author's page. So I'm guessing.

Amazon, pwaaaapaaadddadumm! Great job, and i don't understand why people could equate God with the best and worst of everything because the scriptures that i read, when i was a firm Fire-and-Brimstone-Believer-the Devil was the worst. Who knows, maybe folks are starting to realize the real deal, or well, i just don't know. But, yea, thanks and keep on comin' around to Riddleville!

Louie-M, you are so funny! Way to narrow it down. I think that you have to solve A soul Inspired. You are good and keep trying.

You jumped the gun, he guessed God and that is incorrect (see my reply to him!) Peace and when i add the two lines it will be obvious for most, which i will do now! Thanks always Kimberly.

Louie-M you are wrong, and look at the clues more closely. Would God say that he is "The best and WORST of everything?" The God that I read about in the Bible wouldn't! Try again.

Ashley, that is a wild guess, and you aren't even close, although, now that I think about it, that is a good guess because this subject is quite often "orphaned."

Louie-M you are the MAN! Question, which guess is correct? I am adding two lines that had originally been in, but before I do, you may want to narrow it down, and I would say trust your instincts. Thanks for the visit!
