Why?

Why is pain directed at the heart?
When the knife slips the hearts the only thing cut.

Why do we make people suffer?
We all suffer inside.

Why do we hate?
What we need is to release pain.

I really liked this poem. The questions presented were ones that made me sit back and actually think about what you were presenting me with. One suggestion I would have is to maybe keep it "heart is"... just for clarity. Really, though, this just makes me think about a lot of things, and I always like that from a poem. Keep it up.

    great

Another great poem... they really are the best written when done at the spur of the moment and you don't even really think about it. Please, keep writing... Your poems are awesome!

    ~PS~

Oh, and FFVII is pretty good, but FFVIII... I dunno I like it better, I think Squall's a better character than Cloud, even though Quistis is my favourite in FFVIII... you're right, 10-2 is just... there no word for it...

This is so true. In just a few short lines you were able to put emotion and sense into this. It was great.

    Thought provoking poem!

A good constructive question Angel Aeris, the heart is the seat of motivation, that is why when we suffer pain or anguish of any kind, we hurt so much. Also, the reverse is true, when we have joy and experience good things, the heart feels joyful and we have the benefit of that too.
Well Done! a few words with so much meaning!
    ~Katie~
