A cry for help
is heard by one.
one alone, can stop the hate.
can stop the hurt,
can alter her fate.
one alone, can stop the tears
can silence the screams
can shut out her fears
one alone, can stop the lies
can bring out the truth
can stop the good-byes
one alone, can stop the pains
can bandage the wounds
can clean the mental stains
one alone can stop the blame
can turn pointed fingers
can free her from shame
This, and more, one friend can do
just think, what could happen,
if we only had two.

awesome..
I love this. It had a great rhythm, the rhyming seemed natural.. too many times in pieces it seems synthetic or forced. But, you did a good job with the rhyming scheme. Very meaningful and thought-provoking.. Especially the ending.. kind of sad, but hopeful. Great write!

I really liked it though, it really seems like you really meant it to. and what Boe said too..about the what if thing that was cool. Anyway, great poem hun! I love you!

This poem makes you think, because of the last line... it's kinda like a question of what if? You did a great job. Keep it up! Take care.
