Alpha's Healing

Missing image

Never was she left alone,
even in her darkest hour.
God stayed closely by her side,
letting go His healing power.

Hearing the prayers that she prayed,
He dried every tear that fell.
Giving comfort in her fear,
helped to cause her faith to swell.

Loved ones, friends and strangers too,
joined in prayers for her healing.
Asked protection from Above,
to get back what Satan's stealing.

Doctors found the cancer gone,
no tumors left to harm her.
By His stripes she has been healed,
faith in Christ was the answer.

    Outstanding!!!

"He was wounded for our transgressions He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him And by His stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5). I love the passage, and I love this piece you have penned. I wondered if you had Isaiah 40:31 in mind when you wrote the verse about the eagle...maybe I should have asked that on that poem.

Very nice work. I love uplifting poems like this. God bless you!

Hi, thanks for reading Eddy...as to your question. Jesus suffered for us, was beat and then ultimately put to death so we could have all that we ask. Including healing. Including eternal life.

1 Peter 2:24 Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness-- by whose stripes you were healed."

I follow His word and believe in it wholeheartedly. HOpe this answers your question.

I got goose bumps reading this and the many comments about it. Thank you Lord for all the many blessings we have! I like the style, form, and rhyme of your poem. It would be great even without the uplifting message, great job!

A beautiful tribute to a glorious Saviour. Even when we are suffering and it seems a deaf ear is turned to our prayers, we need to remember that God answers out prayers the way He knows is best. I need to remember this and take comfort in it.
